Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Industry Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and instrumentation within the gas industry. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning, installation, and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for gas industry facilities, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, identify resource requirements, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improvements to electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical and instrumentation engineering in the gas industry.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the gas industry.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, and operating manuals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems within the gas industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to electrical and instrumentation engineering in the gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems, control systems, and instrumentation principles.
  • Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools for electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the gas industry is preferred.
